 SACRAMENTO –   As Race for the Arts celebrates 14 years, “Off to the Races,” the Race for the Arts’ premiere event, continues its tradition in the beautiful garden setting of The Pavilions on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento. Guests will be treated to music by guitarist Sean O’Conner.   KCRA Anchor Edie Lambert will emcee as guests enjoy Dylan Van Ostrand, 11 and Parker Van Ostrand, 9 playing the keyboard  in the Suzuki method.  Six-time Elly award winner El Dorado Musical Theatre will perform. Taste a sampling of wines from Napa Cellars, St. Supéry Vineyards & Winery, Andis Winery, Mount Aukum Winery, Shadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery, and The Hess Collection.   An assortment of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres will be prepared by Bella Bru Cafe & Catering, Fabian’s Italian Bistro, Monsoon – Cuisine of India, Roxy’s Restaurant & Bar, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Splendid Gourmet Catering, Sutter Street Steakhouse, The Mandarin, and Zac Jack Bistro.  Guests will unwind and capture the essence of the Arts.

From August 6 – 18, enter the Pavilions’ Shopping Spree – a chance to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree at any of the shops located in the Pavilions Shopping Center.  Additionally, you could win $1,000 for your chosen arts organization or school program. One entry form per store per day please.
